Event Description

As organizations look to improve their employee recruitment and retention efforts, it has become more important than ever before to benchmark your compensation structure. To help HR BioTech Connect members in that regard, we are pleased to have two distinguished representatives from Mercer deliver a presentation on this topic at our group meeting in June.

Stephen Mork, Partner at Mercer, and Tanaz Moazami, Principal at Mercer, will spend time reviewing recent trends in compensation, using current data from their SIRS Benchmarking survey. They will also speak about common compensation issues, specifically in regards to the BioTech and Life Sciences industry.

In addition, they will be introducing a new, alternative solution that may meet the needs of your business. They are offering a new Life Sciences Pre-IPO/IPO compensation survey in 2015. It will provide a “lite” version using the SIRS survey (which houses some of the largest US Life Science companies) methodologies, but with a smaller price tag to help companies moving into/or recently moved into the public sector with any compensation challenges they may be facing.

The survey will contain over 40 Executive, Management and Professional Science positions.

Their background and expertise in the Life Science sector may help private and recently public companies find appropriate talent at the appropriate cost using competitive pay analysis in the Life Sciences sector. Organizations need data now to prepare for the future, whether they expect growth in the private sector or after their public offering.
